Davidson  / Lake Norman

Davidson NC is a wonderful intellectual and arty college town holding the college campus vibe. The town has a number of quirky shops, street cafes including a gourmet ice cream shop, a number of lovely street cafes and restaurants. Its a lovely little community with friendly people and a lassez-faire atmosphere. Easy ride to Charlotte NC and a two hour trip to the mountains and 3 hours to the beach!

 

Fresh Food Market and Art

With loads of outdoor activities, Davidson is a great place for all ages. The Saturday market is held on the square and if fill with interesting gifts and home made goods. The organic food market has hand picked vegetables and fresh organic meat from local vendors. Do yoga out on the library square or join an interest subject at the summer school. Walk or ride your bicycle everywhere. Its a wonderful place to call home.

There are many beautiful connecting greenways and then there is the lake giving you freedom and space to enjoy the outdoors. The lake invites you to do stand up paddle boarding, boating, fishing and swimming. This small town has an incredible activities for you to join and enjoy.
