Mooresville is known as "Race City USA" . Whether you want to go behind the scenes at shops as they prepare for a race, or take a look back at the history of racing at one of our auto museums, or satisfy your inner speed demon at our world class go-kart track, there are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained. With it's close proximity to Charlotte many people commute there for work  however it's always nice to return home to the golf courses, lakes and walking trails. There is a huge State Park and so much to keep you busy! With waterside restaurants and lake lifestyle, what is there not to like?

Lazy 5 Ranch

The Lazy 5 Ranch is now the home to over 750 animals from 6 different continents. It is a unique educational experience and appeals to all ages. Take a drive through the park or get on a safari tour. Exotic and domestic animals include giraffe, buffalo, zebra, cattle and so much more. A great place to spend the day and enjoy time with those you love.
